During client update meetings, agendas can quickly segue into impromptu brainstorming or problem-solving sessions. This should be avoided for two reasons.
First, it endangers your ability to discuss all the items on your meeting agenda in the allotted time. Second, problem-solving meetings, have a life all their own and require careful planning. Also, the unfortunate fact about update sessions is that conflict can arise.
